Honeywell Intellisense FG701 Glass Break Tester
Honeywell ADE Optima and Accenta products have been installed in over 3 million homes in the UK. The AG6 range offers the installer the reliability of a wired system, conforming to CE specifications, and offers a wide range of accessories in a cost-effective package.
The FG701 is a glass break simulator used to test the reliability and effectiveness of glass break devices. It is compatible with all IntelliSense glassbreak detectors. It produces loud sounds at high frequencies to simulate broken glass. Do not operate the devices near somebodies ears as it can cause damage to hearing.
To test your Honeywell FlexGuard glass breaks set them to test mode, to activate test mode stand within 6' of the sensor with the FG701 set to MAN (manual) and ACTIVATE. Press the RED button for the ACTIVATE sound with the FG701 pointed at the glass break sensor. The green LED will flash once per second, indicating that the glass break sensor is in test mode. You can now switch the ACTIVATE switch to TEST, and use one of two testing modes, MAN or FLEX. When in FLEX mode, press the red button and then gently tap a window with a soft tool next to the FG701. This will cause the simulator to respond with broken glass audio, which should trigger any glass break sensors in range. In the manual mode, the FG701 can be used to produce audio that will assist you with testing the range of your glass break sensors. Features
